Greetings, my brothers and sisters. This is Christopher and in this video I’m going to be showing you around a 40-foot container that we have made livable, and this is more of a minimalist type of shipping container. It’S not very fancy or there’s not a lot of money spent on it about 4,500 in total, including all of the stuff inside. It’S probably less than that. So I just want to show you an idea of cheap living accommodation that, in my opinion and has been for us, it’s been very comfortable. I really enjoy it so start off and I’ll show you the outside. So this is the container it’s a 40-foot high cube. So it’s nine point: six feet tall and the front you’re going to want a nice good. Good luck! That’S hard to walk cutter off, so the shroud is protecting it from being cut with a bolt cutter. So nice and secure it’s um got a nice plate here. So that this door can’t be opened, so you have to go through the through the lock. So just consider the front you want to make sure it’s secure, but it also gives you the option to open it up. We actually have a side door on this one. So this is the container I’ll give you a bit of an angle. I apologize for the camera angles and my shooting in this video – it’s not the greatest, so this is to the side of the container, and this is some stairs that my partner made that I really like and show you on the roof. So first show you what we have on the roof. Now you can see. We have some like black paint on the roof. That’S because the container when we got it was quite rusty. So we painted all of the rough spots and it’s been going well over a year. So what we have here is of is a whirlybird and this spins in the wind and it extracts the heat from the container, which is good so to install this. We just cut the hole out of the container put this backing plate down like hamming it down with a mallet, so it’s contoured drilling it in with metal drill, screws with the impact driver and then silicone around the edges. And it’s held up well and we have a number of different solar lights.
